Richard Armitage filmed interview about Spooks

Just came across this:



Richard Armitage doesn't like violence for the sake of violence. He'd like Lucas to go out in a way that isn't necessarily violent - maybe drowning, because it's a personal fear for him. Harry would take Lucas in an armwrestling match and he would like to do something "nice and calm and all about love". Other than that, nothing really new under the sun. Oh, and there's stubble - and you can see chest hair. Not that I was distracted or anything. *cough*

Also, why not have a look at the brand new Richard Armitage Daily online "newspaper"? It's based on people using the #RichardArmitage hashtag on Twitter. :D

David A Stephenson has an audio interview available as well, for £1. I can definitely bear to part with that amount of money for a near half-hour's interview with the Man with That Voice. Oh, it just finished downloading, yay!

I repeat: "Jaysus, ladies, it's Christmas!" (said in a broad Irish accent.)

    Yes! "All about love"! Pleeeease somebody put this man in a romance where he actually gets the girl! I can't stand him being second fiddle anymore to such lesser-than-Armitage types!

Richard Armitage will never be himself on TV

One of the interesting comments Richard Armitage was when an interviewer asked him, because he's a great dancer, is if we'd ever see him on something like Strictly Come Dancing . His response was that we'd never get to see Richard Armitage as Richard Armitage on TV. Basically, he's not the kind of celebrity to show up as soon as someone waves an invite to a reality TV show. Richard Armitage as himself. On telly. But not in a reality show. Things that make me love and respect the man: +1! Before I read that interview, I was thinking about him on Strictly , and then started to think of a host of other reality TV shows and whether or not he would be a suitable candidate. This is what I came up with ... Top Gear What it is: This is a car show, or ... a comedy show with cars in, depending on how you look at it. Rupert Penry-Jones and Peter Firth came on it to promote series 7 (?) of Spooks , so why not Richard Armitage? He does drive a car, after all ... Why
