Comments

  1. "Amerika" was a miniseries that aired on American television in 1987. The Soviet Union wins the cold war and occupies the United States. I believe Sam played the Russian who was in charge and Kris Kristofferson played the President of the United States. (My mom and I watched it because I was into Sam Neil and she was into Kristofferson.) Strangest moment - watching the Russians execute the members of Congress in the Capitol building. As far as I remember the series only aired the one time, and after the fall of the Berlin Wall and then the USSR itself it became impossible to air again, which is a shame because I thought it was really good.
