Captain America - first trailer

Thanks to MG at FLY HIGH! for the link! :) Here's a first look at the trailer for the upcoming Captain America movie. Richard Armitage is in it, but blink and you miss him (ca 00:23).



Are you looking forward to this as well? Are you a comic book to film fan or just a fan of Richard Armitage or one of the other actors?

    Caaaaant wait for this!! I mean, Richard Armitage in 40's garb? BRING IT ON! (even though he's a Nazi...but who cares, it's RA!)

    This might be the first RA film that my friends will actually see out of their own free will (okay, so the girls are in it for the Captain himself but..pffft they'll come into the dark side soon enough heehee *evil grin*)...

    The hubby's into cartoon superhero movies anyway so that'll be his incentive. We don't normally go to see things at the cinema, but I'll definitely INSIST we go there and see this one as soon as it comes out! ;)

    The Nazi thing - it's funny, because only the other day, I was talking to someone about a different actor in a different film and finding it really confusing, because the actor was WAY to handsome to be a Nazi officer. On the one hand, handsome actor in a uniform - on the other hand ... it's a freakin' NAZI! Very conflicting emotions there, I tell ya. "But I can't fancy him, he's a Nazi!" Guess it'll be a repeat of that this summer!

    ('Twas Sebastian Koch in Black Book (Zwartboek), btw. But he turned out to be a good guy in the end, yay!)

Richard Armitage will never be himself on TV

One of the interesting comments Richard Armitage was when an interviewer asked him, because he's a great dancer, is if we'd ever see him on something like Strictly Come Dancing . His response was that we'd never get to see Richard Armitage as Richard Armitage on TV. Basically, he's not the kind of celebrity to show up as soon as someone waves an invite to a reality TV show. Richard Armitage as himself. On telly. But not in a reality show. Things that make me love and respect the man: +1! Before I read that interview, I was thinking about him on Strictly , and then started to think of a host of other reality TV shows and whether or not he would be a suitable candidate. This is what I came up with ... Top Gear What it is: This is a car show, or ... a comedy show with cars in, depending on how you look at it. Rupert Penry-Jones and Peter Firth came on it to promote series 7 (?) of Spooks , so why not Richard Armitage? He does drive a car, after all ... Why
