Dreaming of Spooks and NTA shortlist voting open (not related)

Last night, I dreamed of Spooks. And Lucas North John Bateman wasn't even in it! (Bloody traitor.) It was something to do with a human-looking robot and a secret room in a house. It was hidden behind a bunk bed and the lock was really dodgy. And for being a super-secret bunker, why on earth did it have perfectly normal windows? Anyway, I believe Dmitri took Harry there, because it was top priority to keep Harry safe. Did that make me Dmitri or was I another spook? Anyway. I think I woke up somewhere there, after having given up on that blasted little key that wouldn't quite lock the secret door properly.

Chin up, Harry. I saved you!

If anyone wanted to vote in the National Television Awards, the shortlist voting opened today, and will remain open until 26 January. You can vote here: http://www.nationaltvawards.com/vote but there's nothing about Spooks or Richard Armitage or anything else Richard, boo. However, if you want to vote for Doctor Who or Sherlock, or their respective eponymous characters' actors, now's a good chance. They made the shortlist. Good for them! I really enjoy Matt Smith as the new Doctor, actually, and thought the Christmas special was really rather good. More on that another day, perhaps. :)

    Yeah, once in a while I perhaps should consider living in reality as well ... heh. :) Or so my mum would probably say!

    Bit disappointed with the NTA shortlist to be honest. I skipped the soap categories completely, as I don't watch them so wouldn't have a clue. The other categories, nothing really stood out. Or maybe I was just disappointed because RA wasn't nominated, or anything he'd been in.

Richard Armitage will never be himself on TV

One of the interesting comments Richard Armitage was when an interviewer asked him, because he's a great dancer, is if we'd ever see him on something like Strictly Come Dancing . His response was that we'd never get to see Richard Armitage as Richard Armitage on TV. Basically, he's not the kind of celebrity to show up as soon as someone waves an invite to a reality TV show. Richard Armitage as himself. On telly. But not in a reality show. Things that make me love and respect the man: +1! Before I read that interview, I was thinking about him on Strictly , and then started to think of a host of other reality TV shows and whether or not he would be a suitable candidate. This is what I came up with ... Top Gear What it is: This is a car show, or ... a comedy show with cars in, depending on how you look at it. Rupert Penry-Jones and Peter Firth came on it to promote series 7 (?) of Spooks , so why not Richard Armitage? He does drive a car, after all ... Why
