Strike Back is everywhere

What a brilliant day! First of all, the sun's shining and it's spring and that's great. Secondly, it started out well on the train: didn't have time to collect my ticket from the machine, but the conductor didn't force me to pay for a new one - instead I could pick it up from the train station where I got off.

Thirdly, and more importantly: Walking from the train station to work, I came across this big billboard on the side of the road, so I just had to stop and take a picture. :D Strike Back is everywhere and it's only eight days to go!

(And this is the second attempt at trying to submit blog posts by email.)

  1. Did you run over and hug the billboard? I might have. :)

  5. I didn't run over and hug it, no... I would've had to climb a fence and I'd only get to hug the pillar it was on, and it doesn't look quite as inviting to hug as the man himself. ;)

Really happily surprised to find a huge picture of RA on the way to work. If I hadn't taken the train yesterday, I wouldn't know it was there, because the other side of the billboard (facing the way I normally come in) is an HSBC mortgage ad or something like that. So only coming FROM town going out you could see RA. I was in a pretty good mood as it was (and listening to a Jane Eyre radio adaptation while walking) but that put a huge smile on my face.

Shame I can't see it from my desk. But then again, maybe I wouldn't get as much work done, eh? ;)

Also figured out what I was doing wrong with submitting by email - I had sent it to blogspot.com instead of blogger.com - d'oh.

  7. OMG!I would have squeeeled on the spot! or at least internally. I'm so envious of you all in the UK. My sister visited and saw the trailer in the hotel lobby and let out a scream! Don't know what I'll do if no-one uploads it and I'll have to wait for the dvd...
