RA Fanstravaganza Results

Sorry I'm late - the polls seemed to not close at 12 in the day, more like... nearly midnight to Wednesday or something last time I looked. Anyway, here are the results. Are you surprised by how people have voted or is it all blatantly obvious? :)

Votes in total:
Best RA Kiss: 125
Most Despised RA Leading Lady: 117
Favourite RA On-screen Squeeze: 56

Favourite RA On-screen Squeeze

It's Mags! Who'd-a thought it, eh? ;)

Not-so-closely followed by vicar Gerry!

My reaction on seeing this particular scene was "Hey, that's the same cardigan I've got!"
It's my favourite one too. So I guess I know where she goes shopping. :)

Best RA Kiss

Again, not really a surprise... it's Maggie Hale and John-boy Thornton with the chocolate voice! :)

...and again, followed by the voluptuous Dibley priestess!

One goes weak at the knees only by looking at that!
Come fill my little world right up, right up, right uuuup. *happy sigh*

Most Despised RA Leading Lady

Ta-da! Not as clear-cut beforehand than I thought. I mean, Marian is THIRD? That's a bit of a surprise, surely! I thought she'd be at least two, and that the battle would be between her and Sarah, but instead, it's Sarah and Alona. Go fig! So, in keeping with tradition, here's a picture... the extended version, you might say:

Sarah Cauldron Cauliflower Caulfield, bound and gagged
...not by Lucas, but hey, can't have it all.
He totally would've done it eventually.
Surely.

Here's one of many grating moments:

And for number two, we're Alonagain, naturally...
with another grating moment, woo!

Pinned to the wall of shame:

Sarah Caulfield, Spooks 76 (64%)
Alona Cunningham, Between the Sheets 12 (10%)
Marian, Robin Hood 11 (9%)
Isabella of Gisborne, Robin Hood 7 (5%)
Ellie Morgan, Moving On 5 (4%)
Carol Bolton, Sparkhouse 2 (1%)
Fannie Thornton, North and South 2 (1%)
Kath, Frozen 2 (1%)
Ivy Ridgeway, Malice Aforethought 0 (0%)
Madeleine Cranmere, Malice Aforethought 0 (0%)

Thanks to everyone who voted! Hope you had fun with the RA Fanstravaganza. Perhaps we'll have another one next year, if not before? :) Thanks to Nat at RA Fan Blog for the organisation and to Maria at FLY HIGH! for coming up with the idea. It's been great fun to read everyone's posts, polls and comments. And thanks to all the other participants, who have their results up as well:

  3. Great work on the Fanstravaganza Traxy!
Also, these clips are good. Sarah Caulfield was very sinister, heartless and cold in this clip. I never understood what he saw in her, that's why this relationship was the worst!
As for Alona Cummingham (interesting name for her character, don't you think!) I don't understand why people didn't like her. I think her reactions as the cheated on wife are spot on, and she does have more insight into these things being a "relationship" counsellor. Her husband hasn't been performing his "husbandly" duties for 7 months (!), he's accused of having an affair with a young girl (his client), and he lies to her about it....I'd be a bit bitchy myself!!

  4. Thanks, phylly3! :) You've got a very good point about Alona, although if we are to believe Paul when he swears he hasn't had an affair, she's a bit bitchy, because why won't she believe him? Still, I thought Marian would come in second!
