Single-minded? Moi? (Yes, another Strike Back post)

They just said on Sky1 that Strike Back will begin with a double episode! :D

Also,
Female fans (and they are legion; when Armitage, who's single and lives in south-east London, made his romantic debut in North & South, BBC switchboards were jammed with heavy breathing) will just be happy their man spends a good part of Strike Back with his shirt off.

Shirtless RA!!! Aww, but then we'll be all distracted and won't pay proper attention to the story! Oh well, I'm sure we can all live with that... ;)

But - ladies and... probably no gentlemen - let's not forget who else will be struttin' their acting stuff on screen in this production: Cathy Earnshaw '98 (Orla Brady), Edgar Linton '09 (Andrew Lincoln), Miss Taylor/Mrs. Weston '09 (Jodhi May), Friar Tuck "off of" BBC's Robin Hood (David Harewood), that annoying guy in that Spooks episode (Ewen Bremner) and last but definitely not least because rather it's the best for last - Edward Fairfax Rochester '06! Yes, we've got two episodes worth of Toby Stephens to look forward to!

So let's remember, it's not just an Armitage-fest, it's an outright costume drama reunion! With Toby Stephens!

    @phylly3 - I plan on keeping warm on Wednesday by watching Spooks series 7 dvd! So don't despair-get out your RA dvds and enjoy!

    I want to know why we haven't seen a single Toby preview from all those SB promo pics Sky has been making so readily available lately. I hope somebody makes screencaps of Toby in SB so I can see what his character looks like, at least. Love Toby!

    All the promos have been about episode one+two, so when it's time for episodes 5+6, maybe then we finally get to see some TS! Fingers crossed!

Richard Armitage will never be himself on TV

One of the interesting comments Richard Armitage was when an interviewer asked him, because he's a great dancer, is if we'd ever see him on something like Strictly Come Dancing . His response was that we'd never get to see Richard Armitage as Richard Armitage on TV. Basically, he's not the kind of celebrity to show up as soon as someone waves an invite to a reality TV show. Richard Armitage as himself. On telly. But not in a reality show. Things that make me love and respect the man: +1! Before I read that interview, I was thinking about him on Strictly , and then started to think of a host of other reality TV shows and whether or not he would be a suitable candidate. This is what I came up with ... Top Gear What it is: This is a car show, or ... a comedy show with cars in, depending on how you look at it. Rupert Penry-Jones and Peter Firth came on it to promote series 7 (?) of Spooks , so why not Richard Armitage? He does drive a car, after all ... Why
